Kendall Cogan founded Vantage Development (formerly Property Services Group) in 2015. Vantage Development is able to capitalize on Cogan’s 30 years of experience with multi-family, hotels, restaurants, office and mixed-use projects spreading from Louisville to Miami Beach. Cogan and the Vantage Development team rely on their unique skillsets to maximize real estate development opportunities and bring various types of projects to fruition.
Vantage Development will assess each property for its highest & best use of land, coordinate the optimal product mix, obtain appropriate zoning and development plan approvals, manage construction through project completion and oversee lease-up. Kendall Cogan
Kendall Cogan returned to his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky in 2013 after working 17 years in the Florida real estate market. He grew up in a family that discussed real estate around the dinner table and it’s a passion that has been passed down to many of the nine Cogan children.
Cogan launched Vantage Development (formerly Property Services Group) in 2015. Vantage Development relies on Cogan’s extensive real estate experience to bring various types of projects to fruition. Kendall’s experience with multi-family, hotels, restaurants, office and mixed-use gives Vantage Development the optimal “vantage” point to maximize any real estate project.
Prior to Vantage Development, Cogan was recruited in 2010 by Lyle Stern, owner of Koniver Stern Group (KSG), to join their firm. KSG, located on South Beach, is one of the most prestigious real estate brokerage firms in South Florida. During his time with KSG Cogan increased client base, revenues, and represented some of the firm’s biggest developers, including Armando Codina on the $1 billion Downtown Doral project.
In 2003, Kendall launched Hot Concepts, a restaurant company developing locations throughout Southwest Florida. As owner, Cogan conducted all site analysis, selection, lease/acquisition negotiation, and construction management. Hot Concepts developed nine restaurant locations in just over three years, making it one of the fastest growing organizations in its segment.
In the early 90’s, Cogan co-founded Midwest Contract, which provided design, procurement, and construction management services to high-end hotels. During this period he worked with companies including Marriott, Renaissance, Hyatt, Sheraton and Hilton.
While obtaining his college degree, Cogan worked in property management responsible for leasing and maintenance of 250 apartment units and a dozen single-family residences. This hands-on experience gave Cogan solid foundation of understanding real estate, property value, maintenance and how to maximize an investment in real estate.
Cogan graduated from the University of Louisville in 1992 with a BA in Economics. He and his wife have been married for 24 years. Shannon Cogan is evening news anchor of WAVE 3 News in Louisville. They live with their twin 13-year old boys, Colt and Cade, near Seneca Park. They are members of the Holy Spirit Church and strong supporters of Heuser Hearing and Language Academy, Meredith Dunn School and Norton Children’s Hospital.
